Police are investigating after a three-vehicle accident in Laurel County Friday afternoon that injured two women.
The incident happened at about 1:45 p.m. on U.S. 25 at the intersection of Fariston Road about five miles south of London. Police say it appears a Suzuki SUV was northbound on U.S. 25 and turned left into the path of a southbound Ford Ranger. The collision caused a third vehicle to be struck, a GMC pickup that was stopped at a stop sign on Fariston Road to enter U.S. 25.
The Suzuki was driven by Charlotte Perry, 48 of Lily, who suffered multiple injuries and was transported to St. Joseph Hospital London. The Ford Ranger was driven by Sandra Carol, 52, East Bernstadt, who also suffered multiple injuries and was transported to BRMC-Corbin.
The GMC pickup was driven by Patric Haddix, 18, of Jackson, who was not injured.
