U.S. 62 in Anderson County was blocked in both directions Wednesday afternoon after a fatal crash near the Woodford County line.

The accident happened just before 3:30 p.m. So far, there is no official word on how many vehicles were involved and how many fatalities and/or injuries there were.

The road is expected to be closed for at least two hours.
