You expect Belmont to come out firing from downtown, since they are No.2 in America for most 3's made since they joined Division One in 1996-97. Duke is No. 1.

Drew Windler, a 6-9 senior hits a couple of quick shots from downtown and Belmont grabs a 10-6 lead.

At the TV timeout with 11:57 to go in the half, Cal was screaming big time. Game tied at 12.

Drew Windler is a really good shooter. He hits 56% from downtown. He hits two more and it's 18-12 Belmont. Windler is already 4 of 5 from downtown.

After a timeout because Cal was really mad, Julius Randle gets a big dunk. But Belmont still led 25-16.

The crowd explodes when Jarrod Polson hits a 3. It's 27-19 Belmont.

Alex Poythress hits a shot from downtown to cut Belmont's lead to 41-35.

UK got behind 11 points, came back to make it 43-41 Belmont at the half.

Aaron continued his fine offensive day with the good pass to Alex Poythress who throws it down. UK leads 70-61.

Andrew Hawkins made a number of great hustle plays. He goes on the floor to get the ball, passes to Willie Cauley-Stein who makes it 79-68 UK.

UK wins 93-80.

Julius Randle led everyone with 29. He also grabbed 10 rebounds.

Aaron Harrison had 23 points, 7 assists, and 6 rebounds.

Willie Cauley-Stein had 16 points, 7 rebounds and 2 blocks.

Craig Bradshaw led Belmont with 22.

Drew Windler finishes with 21 points. That includes 5 3's.

Belmont hit 11 3's, while UK had 3.

UK hit 55% from the fiel. Belmont was at 47%.

UK won the battle of the boards 42-25.
