UK 70 Boise State 55

Boise State, whose never played in front of 21,000 fans in any game ever, didn't seem intimidated by walking into Rupp.

Willie-Cauley Stein with his yellow hair jams a James Young miss and UK goes up 12-7.

But Boise State was hustling. Mikey Thompson with a fast break layup and Boise State grabs a 14-13 lead.

There is a time out on the court with UK up 15-14 and Cal yells at Willie Cauley-Stein, "get out" after he didn't grab a rebound. But, Willie was quickly back in the game.

James Young was hot. His three off a nice pass from Dominique Hawkins makes it 27-20 UK. Young at this point had 14 points.

Anthony Drmic dunks with Julius Randle looking for the block. 29-24 UK.

James Young was feeling it. Another 3 to make it 32-24 UK.

Willie Cauley-Stein ended the half the right way. First he gets a block, then it's an offensive rebound on the other end. UK leads 41-31 at the half.

Willie has 6 points, 5 rebounds and 5 blocks.

James Young leads everyone with 17 points. He has 4 buckets from downtown.

After getting destroyed off the boards by Baylor, UK leads the rebounding battle 23-12.

The intensity picked up in the second half, which is good for UK, because it's something Cal has been looking for.

Cal had moments where he wasn't happy. With the score 62-47, after a Poythress turnover, he kicked the UK logo, and kicked it hard.

The Harrison twins made a number of tough buckets. Andrew with a strong move to make it 64-51. After he missed his free throw to make a three point play, Julius Randle with a dunk and it's 66-51.

Boise State was averaging 92 points a game. Give some credit to UK's defense holding them to 55 points.

UK wins 70-55.

Julius Randle with his 8th double-double. Randle has 17 points and 11 rebounds.

James Young led everyone with 21 points. He also grabs 9 reboundes.

Willie Cauley-Stein had 6 points, 7 rebounds and 9 blocks.

UK shoots 53% from the field and they hold Boise State to 32%.

UK wins the battle of the boards 43-27.

UK wins 70-55.
