Only when dealing with professionals can a team lose by 23 points, then turn-around five days later to almost win.
That was the case on Saturday when UK and Chalons-Reims played for the second time in a week.
The Cats beat the professional team from France on Monday, 81-58. Fast forward to Saturday and UK needed a come-from-behind effort to beat Chalons-Reims, 77-72.
Kentucky looked sloppy in the first half -- 8 turnovers in the first 20 minutes alone. Combine that with the fact that Chalons-Reims shot 73-percent from the field in the first half and UK trailed 44-43 at the break.
The Cats only allowed 28 second half points and continued to use a lot of bodies to wear the French Pros down.
