Eight former Kentucky players now in the NBA will return to Lexington to play the Dominican Republic National Team - coached by John Calipari - in an exhibition game at Rupp Arena Aug. 15.
The eight man "Kentucky Pros" team will consist of John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, DeMarcus Cousins, Rajon Rondo, Jodie Meeks, Tayshaun Prince, Nazr Mohammed and Keith Bogans.
Joe B. Hall and Sam Bowie will serve as co-coaches for the Kentucky side.
A presale for tickets begins Thursday morning through Ticketmaster.
Calipari announced the roster late Wednesday night through his Twitter account. He first mentioned the idea of the exhibition game in May, shortly after accepting the Dominican Republic's offer to lead their national team. Rumors of a date for the game and possible Kentucky players committed to play have circulated the internet for several days.
The Domincan team will consist of 12 players, including NBA players Charlie Villanueva, Al Horford and Francisco Garcia, who played at Louisville.
