Joker Phillips said Friday morning after practice that potential starting defensive tackle Mister Cobble has undergone surgery on his left shoulder after and that backup offensive lineman Dave Ulinski has had to give up playing football due to concussions.

Joker expects Cobble to be ready to play for the upcoming season.

"We all on this staff think he has a chance to be a great player for us, a big time player for us. We've had some guys inside that we think have been good players and we think he has a chance to be as good as any of those guys," Jokeer said last week.
