UK improved to 20-7 overall this season and 8-6 in the SEC.
The win gives Kentucky its school-record fifth straight 20-win season.
Kentucky's all-time record is 706-484 (.593) in 40 seasons of varsity basketball.
Mitchell is in his seventh season as the head coach of the Wildcats and owns a record of 164-69 at UK. Overall, Mitchell is 194-98 in nine seasons.
