A University of Kentucky professor facing multiple counts of incest is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday.

Dr. Robert Tannenbaum says he is innocent of the charges. Lexington police say a relative of the 67-year-old came forward last month and alleged Tannenbaum forced her to have sex with him four to five times a week back in 1999, when she was in eighth grade.

A preliminary hearing for Tannenbaum is set for 8:30 a.m. in Fayette District Court.
