Injured UK running back Derrick Locke, who on Tuesday appeared ready to return to UK's lineup Saturday against Mississippi State, did not practice with the Cats on Wednesday, and his return for the game is now looking doubtful.
Locke has missed two games after injuring his shoulder during UK's 37-34 loss to Auburn on October 9. He still leads UK running backs with 574 yards and seven touchdowns.
If Locke doesn't play, UK will be missing two offensive players, with wide receiver Matt Roark suspended for at least the Mississippi State game after a DUI arrest early Sunday morning.
