UK junior wide receiver Matt Roark was arrested and charged with DUI and failure to maintain insurance early Sunday morning.

Roark was arrested just before 6 a.m. on Wood Valley Court in Lexington and was booked into the Fayette County Detention Center at 7:30 a.m. Sunday morning.

UK coach Joker Phillips said Monday that Roark had been suspended from the team for Saturday's game at Mississippi State for a violation of team rules, but did not elaborate.

Roark is scheduled for a court appearance in the case on Thursday.
