Police say a man who was the cause of a Versailles neighborhood lockdown has been taken into custody.
Police say William Lloyd visited a nearby hospital earlier Thursday and allegedly threatened to hurt himself before he left. Police then contacted Lloyd, who then allegedly threatened to shoot at police.
Police then went to his residence on Quail Run Road in the Stonegate neighborhood, surrounded the home and closed all the streets in the surrounding area at around 3:30 p.m.
Police went into the home just after 5:30 p.m., and Lloyd was not inside. The search continued until about 10:45 p.m. Thursday, when they took him into custody as he was spotted walking in front of his home. So far, no charges have been filed.
Police say Lloyd was not armed at the time of his arrest.
