Just two days after his rescue, 66-year-old Gerald Bush remains at UK Hospital.
His family says he is still in critical but stable condition. Bush was found 75 hours after he went missing in the Red River Gorge.
Friday night, one rescuer told LEX 18 News, if it had been 76 hours Bush likely would have been dead.
A Bloodhound from Tennessee picked up a scent from the bench where Bush was last seen on Monday.
The dog took off and 20 minutes later found Bush.
His family says Bush suffers from dementia and has wandered off before.
Once he recovers, they say they will find 24-hour car for him.
