The missing child that was found on UK's campus Thursday will be going back to California but will not be returned to her mother, according to the Lexington Herald Leader.

Los Angeles Police say there was already an open investigation on the baby's mother before she was reported missing in October.

Maria Dejesus Baltierra was arrested Friday for endangering the welfare of a minor, custodial interference and on a warrant out of California.

She's expected to be in Lexington court Wednesday.
