Three people were hurt after a drag racer lost control of his car and hit two people Saturday night.

It happened at the Ohio Valley Dragway around 8:00 on Katherine Station Road near the Hardin County and Jefferson County line.

Track officials say the driver of the car suffered a medical emergency and hit a member of his own pit crew and a crew member from another team.

Their names and conditions are not known.

Officials say the dragster was going at a slow speed at the time of the crash. All three people were taken to University Hospital for their injuries.
