A vehicle crashed into the side of a building along New Circle Road Monday morning.

Police say the driver had her foot in a medical boot and it caught on the gas pedal. The SUV slammed into the side of the building housing Superior Van and Mobility near the corner of Family Circle.

The woman driving was not injured, but the building sustained some damage. The owner said chunks of brick covered a desk inside, and he will have to close the showroom section until he can make some repairs.
