John Wall returned to action for the Washington Wizards Sunday night after missing five games due to a knee injury.
The former UK guard came off the bench and scored four points, hitting just 2-of-9 from the field. Wall also dished out four assists and pulled down half a dozen boards in 19 minutes of action.
Washington lost 94-80 to San Antonio.
Wall admitted feeling a little rusty after the layoff.
"I hadn't played in two weeks and a half, so running on a bike is different than running on the court, especially chasing a talented point guard in Tony Parker," Wall said. "Before Saunders took me out the first time, five plays before that, I was trying to get out of there. I just wasn't used to it."
