Several inches of snow fell across counties to the north of Lexington during the day Sunday, causing some hassles for drivers.

Police reported numerous accidents due to slick conditions and low visibility.

But temperatures climbed above the freezing mark overnight, melting snow from the roadways. By Monday morning, roads in the area were just wet.
