Eric Bledsoe is denying an NBA draft site story that says he's going to the NBA.

"According to Eric Bledsoe, he has not signed with an agent. He's going to work out with team and make a decision on May 8th." That statement was sent via Twitter from UK News.

Earlier Tuesday, NBA Draft.net said Bledsoe is was leaving UK. "Kentucky's Eric Bledsoe has made it official. He's entering the draft and signing with an agent. He had a lot to return for but appears to be a near lock for the first round," said the web site.

The draft site has Bledsoe going 28th out of 30 first round slots to Memphis. Even though that's close to not getting a guaranteed contract, Bledsoe is listed as the second point guard, behind his buddy John Wall, that would be taken in the first round. They have two other players being picked ahead of Bledsoe listed under two position, point guard and shooting guard.

NBA teams often allow a point guard time to grow and develop.

What hasn't helped Bledsoe is, some scouts have quietly told LEX18 sports that they haven't seen Bledsoe run the point enough because John Wall dominated the minutes at that spot.

What all scouts seem to like is Bledose's body. Very athletic, built like a cornerback or tailback. Scouts also like his toughness.

Five Wildcats could potentially be drafted in the first round. NBA Draft.net has John Wall remaining as the first pick going to New Jersey, DeMarcus Cousins going 5th to Washington.

The website then has Patrick Patterson at number nine to Utah, which is expected to lose forward Carlos Boozer.

And, Daniel Orton as the last selection in the first round at No. 30 to Washington.
