Bryan Station quarterback Ora Johnson completed 33-of-41 pass attempts for 450 yards and five touchdowns to lead the Defenders to a 55-52 OT victory over Collins. The Bryan Station signal caller also gained 99 yards on the ground and scored a rushing touchdown.
Quarterback Richard Trent led Breathitt County to a 58-29 win over Clay County, scoring seven times. The senior threw for 286 yards and four touchdowns. He also scored three times on the ground and finished with 86 rushing yards.
Jeffery Canady rolled up 236 rushing yards and scored three touchdowns, as Knox Central got past Madison Central 44-36 in overtime. Ken-Jah Bosley caught 12 passes for 221 yards, and Dominque Hopkins scored three rushing touchdowns and caught a TD pass for Madison Central.
Mercer County running back James Johnson had a huge night in the Titans' 54-14 victory over Dunbar. The senior rushed for 221 yards and scored four touchdowns on 11 carries.
Casey Whittle completed 12-of-19 passes for 263 yards and two touchdowns in the Rebels' 38-7 win over Whitley County. Seph Burke rushed for 140 yards and scored a pair of TDs for the Rebels.
Three Hazard backs eclipsed the 100-yard mark in the Bulldogs' 50-28 win over Sheldon Clark. Nathan Higgins rushed for 108 yards and scored a touchdown on just six carries. Kody Arnett carried the ball 14 times, finishing with 111 yards. And quarterback Evan Whitaker ran the ball eight times, ending his night with 101 yards and a rushing TD. Whitaker also threw for 240 yards and a pair of touchdowns.
Clark County avoided a 10-loss season with a 44-26 victory over Rowan County. C.D. Spight rushed for 124 yards. Darian Farris rolled up 107 yards on just four carries, and Da'von Marshall scored three touchdowns.
Teantre McGee dashed for 168 yards on 10 carries to help Frankfort to a 28-14 victory over Danville. McGee accounted for all of the Panther scores with three rushing touchdowns and a returned fumble for a score.
Taylor County running back Dalton Turpin rushed for 245 yards on just 12 carries in a 33-28 victory over Hart County.
Highlands quarterback Donovan McCoy completed 15-of-21 passes for 257 yards and five touchdowns to lift the Bluebirds to a 58-13 win over Ryle.
Kentayvous Hopkins rushed for 128 yards and scored a pair of touchdowns in Bourbon County's 48-0 victory over cross-town rival Paris. The senior running back also caught an 11-yard TD pass.
Kevo Edwards rushed for 153 yards and two touchdowns in Scott County's 56-6 victory over Simon Kenton. Dieries Dumphord found the end zone three times for the Cardinals.
Cade Stidham exploded for 204 yards and scored a pair of rushing touchdowns to lift East Carter to a 41-18 upset victory over Morgan County. Stidham also caught a 20-yard pass for a touchdown.
Senior Woodford County running back Jarren Holts made the most of his last game, rushing for 163 yards and a pair of touchdowns in the Yellow Jackets 38-10 victory over Harrison County.
Granville Hayes caught five passes for 121 yards and a touchdown as Anderson County beat Marion County 28-12.
Treyvon Long ran for 99 yards on 11 carries and scored a TD to help Harlan County to a 40-34 victory over Bell County. The Black Bears finished with 292 total rushing yards. Five Harlan County players ran the ball, and Carson Whitehead scored a pair of rushing touchdowns. Jonathon Polly carried the load for Bell County, running for 157 yards and two touchdowns.
Nick Britt scored four touchdowns and finished with 117 yards, as Russell County pounded Adair County 66-14. Lee Cox scored twice and finished with 94 yards.
Jimmy Burns completed all 11 of his pass attempts for 239 yards and three TDs as Warren East knocked off Bullitt Central 35-6.
Louisville Manual's Dishan Romine led the way 261 yards rushing and three touchdowns in a 35-0 win over Moore.
Five Wayne County players combined for 273 rushing yards to lift the Cardinals to a 31-14 victory over East Jessamine.
