Police say that both lanes of westbound I-64 at mile marker 36 in Shelby County should be open by early afternoon after being closed for several hours due to a truck fire.

Officials say a semi caught fire and is on the right shoulder. Traffic was backed up approximately 3 miles.

There were no injuries reported.

Officials said at the time that it could take several hours to clear the scene.
