A fire inside a Whitley County law office remains under investigation.

The blaze broke out early Tuesday morning in the North Third Street office of Ronnie Reynolds in Williamsburg. Firefighters say the fire caused some minor damage.

According to the Times-Tribune, Williamsburg Fire Department Chief James Privett says the Kentucky State Police and the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives have taken over the investigation. A state police arson investigator was at Reynold's office Tuesday.

Reynolds recently entered a guilty plea to a conspiracy charge in a case involving former Whitley County sheriff Lawrence Hodge.
