FRANKFORT (AP) - The Kentucky National Wildlife Art Exhibit opens this fall in Henderson, and officials are asking artists to submit entries.
The Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources says more than $10,000 in awards will be presented.
The 10th biennial exhibit opens to the public Oct. 13 at the Henderson Fine Arts Center. Kentucky Fish and Wildlife sponsors it along with the Ohio Valley Art League.
Artists may submit works depicting birds, mammals, reptiles and aquatic life native to the U.S. in multimedia, oil, acrylic, graphite, bronze sculpture, woodcarving, pastel, serigraph and watercolor.
