The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Warning for the northern KY counties of Owen, Grant, Pendleton, Bracken, Robertson, Mason and Lewis until 7PM this evening. A thin band of heavy snowfall has set up over these counties. Accumulations of 2-4" of snow are expected with locally higher amounts possible. The snow will reduce visibilities and will make travel hazardous. It won't be around for long - temperatures will warm back into the 40s after midnight tonight and eventually into the 60s Monday.
