Winter Weather Advisory Expanded

The National Weather Service has expanded tonight's Winter Weather Advisory for southeastern KY. The Advisory area now includes counties south and east of Fayette. As a wave of low pressure passing by to our south throws some moisture our way, light snow is expected late tonight into Tuesday morning with some sleet possible at the onset. 1-2" of snow/sleet accumulation is possible in the Advisory area with locally higher amounts in the high elevations. Minimal accum. is expected north and west.
