A winter weather event looks to unfold very late tonight or more likely Friday morning. It's not a strong system, so amounts will be light with forecasted amounts of a trace to 2" of snow/sleet and freezing rain across the area. The amounts look to trend higher to the east and less to the west.
Untreated roads may become slick through the day with temepratuers remaining below freezing in most places. The peak for this looks to be midday Friday with the bulk of this really getting going somewhere around the morning commute.
We'll continue to track the development and have updates on LEX 18.
