A Paducah man is charged with murder after police say he walked into a hospital carrying a knife and talked of stabbing a woman to death.
Police say 35-year-old Jerome J. Thomas came to Western Baptist Hospital just before midnight Saturday and said he stabbed 38-year-old Sylenia Williams.
A Western Baptist Hospital employee called 911. Investigators went to Williams' home and found her stabbed to death on the floor of a bedroom.
Thomas is being held in the McCracken County Jail.
