A woman badly injured in a Pike County fire that killed five other people last week has had her condition upgraded at UK Hospital.

The fire that broke out on January 9 at a home on Elswick Branch killed Billy Wilfong and his four young children, five-year-old Dakota, four-year-old Tyler, two-year-old Cheyenne, and six-month-old Emily.

The children's mother, Tammie Tucker remains at UK Hospital, where she was upgraded from serious to fair condition Monday.

The family tells LEX 18 they have set up a fund to help with funeral costs. Donations can be made to US Bank under the "Tucker-Wilfong Memorial Fund."
