A woman was flown to UK Hospital after an accident in Jackson County on Monday afternoon.

Police say Shannon Stidham, 37, told them another car in her lane ran her off US-421 in South Tyner. Stidham's car went off the roadway and traveled 47 yards before overturning and coming to a stop. Troopers say she was not wearing a seatbelt, but remained in the car.

Police did not release any information on the victim's condition.
