One woman suffered injuries in a crash that shut down New Circle Road for about an hour early Thursday morning.

Police say a woman turned left onto the outer loop from Woodhill Drive around 2:30 a.m., and her car collided with another vehicle. EMS took the woman to the hospital. Officials say they expect her to be OK.

The driver of the other vehicle was not hurt.

Police blocked the road as crews cleared debris. The road has since been reopened.
