Police have identified a woman killed in a three vehicle crash in Laurel County Thursday afternoon.

Deputies say Thomas Garrett Jr., 36, was heading north along US-25 when he pulled onto the shoulder about four miles south of London to make a U-turn and hit a northbound Mercury Capri. The impact pushed the second car into the southbound lane where it crashed into an oncoming Chevy Tahoe.

Jennifer Stevens Scott, of Hartford, was a passenger in the Capri. Deputies say she died at the scene.

EMS took the driver of the Capri and the driver of the SUV to a local hospital. Officials did not release any information on their conditions.
