A woman is dead after another car hit hers in Pulaski County.

The accident happened around 7:00 Saturday morning on Kentucky 196 about 15 miles west of Somerset. Police say 16-year old Denny Britt III was driving westbound when he lost control of his vehicle, crossed the center line and hit a car driven by 51-year old Kathy Kingsley.

Kingsley was cut out of the car and pronounced dead at the scene.

Britt was taken to a local hospital.
