Police in Wayne County are investigating a drive-by shooting in Monticello.

Debbie Barnhouse says she was inside her home when she heard shots ring out.

"And then I started screaming at my husband, and I could still hear pow, pow, pow, pow, like a whole bunch of firecrackers, and my husband come out and said, 'What's going on,' and I said we're being shot at," she said.

She looked out and saw a vehicle speed away. When Barnhouse went outside, she found her car was hit several times.

Police continue to investigate.
