A woman shot by a Scott County sheriff's deputy during a chase in September 2011 was sentenced to four years in prison in the case Monday.
The incident happened over the 2011 Labor Day weekend. Scott County sheriff's deputies say Glenna Sutherland, 57, didn't stop when they tried pulling her over in Georgetown after a request from Versailles Police.
Sutherland told LEX 18 after her arrest that she headed to Scott County to put stuff in storage. That's when state police say she rammed into a police cruiser and then tried to run over a deputy, who shot her in the arm.
Sutherland was also denied probation in the case Monday.
