A driver on northbound I-75 in Lexington was taken to the hospital with what appeared to be minor injuries after she flipped her car. Monday afternoon.

The accident happened at about 2 p.m. near mile marker 100. Police say the female driver was in the fast lane, lost control somehow, over corrected and flipped the car.

She complained of some neck pain as she was taken to the hospital.

Traffic in the area was backed up for about an hour.
