A woman who says a southern Kentucky preacher raped her as a child went public Wednesday.
In 2011, a Wayne County grand jury indicted Gerald Dishman on 13 counts of raping a child. Since then, he's bonded out of jail and continued his ministry as pastor of Denny Hollow Jesus Name Church.
"Becky" says Dishman raped her from the time she was 3-years-old until she was 15. She says Dishman also raped her sister. "Becky" says she hopes going public will speed up what has become a lengthy court process.
"It's been going on in court for two years, and we can't get any answers. I mean, he's out running free."
Becky says she wants justice and can't understand why anybody would continue going to Dishman's church.
"I think it's a disgrace. Anybody that would go to his church? It's a disgrace, because he's nothing but a hypocrite. Anybody who goes to his church, I think they're hypocrites too."
"Becky" says she believes other victims exist, and she hopes they will come forward.
