Lexington Police are investigating after a three-or four-year-old boy was the victim of a hit and run on a Lexington street Monday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 3:30 p.m. on Michigan Street. Police say the boy did not appear to suffer life-threatening injuries, but did hit his head and was taken to the hospital.

Police say they are searching for a green GMC Jimmy with Kentucky license plate 968-MJZ. They say the driver is believed to be a male Hispanic.
