Medal Of Honor Recipient, Dakota Meyer Engaged To Bristol Palin

Medal of Honor recipient and Kentucky native, Dakota Meyer announced Saturday morning through various social media outlets that he is engaged to Bristol Palin, the daughter of former Alaska governor, Sarah Palin.

"I'm definitely the luckiest guy [in the world] to be able to spend the rest of my life with Bristol Palin," Meyer posted to his Facebook, along with a picture of the couple.

"Cannot wait to marry this man.. really the luckiest girl in the world!!" Palin wrote on her page.

Meyer, a Marine from Adair County, was awarded the Medal Of Honor for his actions in 2009 while in Afghanistan's Ganjgal Valley.

    HONOLULU (AP) - A multi-agency team scoured the ocean off Hawaii for five soldiers aboard an Army helicopter that went down during a nighttime training exercise.      The UH-60 Black Hawk went missing when another Army helicopter training with it lost visual and radio contact about 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, said Lt.     MOUNT STERLING, Ky. (LEX 18) - The inmate who escaped from a Montgomery County Detention Center has been caught in Ohio.

    Police said Wesley Davis escaped Wednesday sparking a multi-agency search.

    The Montgomery County Sheriff said Davis was caught in Lawrence County, Ohio about 1:30 Thursday morning after crashing a stolen car.
