One year after the shooting death of a Woodford County Marine, a grand jury has indicted two individuals.

A Fayette County Grand Jury returned indictments for Quincinio D. Canada and Dawan Q. Mulazim  in relation to their involvement in the murder of Jonathan Price and assault of Megan Price.

Jonathan and Megan Price were leaving Austin City Saloon on June 21, 2014 when they were approached by two men demanding money. Jonathan was shot in the back and Megan was shot in the leg. Megan survived her injuries, however Jonathan did not.

In relation to the case, both individuals have been indicted on charges of  murder, robbery and assault.

"I think it will make Megan feel better, but of course it won't bring her husband back. But, it has to put her mind at ease, knowing that they are not on the streets anymore," said Jessica Mitchell.

Mitchell went to school with Megan, and said the tragedy has stayed with everyone, as they waited for arrests.

"It's hard on everybody and it's scary that we live in a world where people just kill people like it's nothing," said Mitchell.

Police said the violence didn't end with Jonathan's death. Back in September of 2014, Canada and Mulazim were arrested for three Lexington robberies. Police said that list includes one at the Quality Inn six days before the murder.

Canada is also charged in a fourth robbery, for allegedly shooting someone during a hold up on Terrace View Drive in July of 2014. Plus, Lexington Police said they are pretty sure surveillance video caught both the men during a violent robbery at a Dry Ridge Speedway in July 2014.

Investigators said the duo went to jail in Indiana, after a robbery and police chase in Louisville.

Currently, both suspects are incarcerated for unrelated charges.  Canada is lodged in the Jefferson County Detention Center and Mulazim is lodged in Hopkins County Detention Center.
