MAYSVILLE, Ky (LEX 18) Neighbors in Mason County are still in shock after a northern Kentucky woman was arrested and accused of threatening people online and making false statements to federal agents.

“The person they're describing in this allegation isn't the person I know, and it isn't the person that any of my neighbors that have taken the time to get to know her know either,” Herbert Freeman said about his neighbor Marie Antoinette Castelli.

The 55-year-old northern Kentucky woman is at the center of an FBI probe.

The indictment claims that Castelli communicated the names and addresses of three unknown victims in October 2015. It says she shared photos of these victims and gave information on their families through a publicly accessible document.

The indictment said that the suspect wanted others to locate and execute ‘Victim 1’.

Six months later, an FBI agent asked Castelli if she had multiple telephones during their investigation.

The indictment says that Castelli told them no, but that she actually possessed two additional phones at the time.

Records show that she pleaded not guilty to those charges.

She will be in federal court on November 7.
