3 Injured After Two-Vehicle Crash In Lexington

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) - Three people were injured in a two-vehicle accident in Lexington Saturday morning. 

It happened on the 2400 block of Russell Cave Road just before 11:30 a.m. 

Investigators believe a car was trying to turn into Russell Cave Road when it was hit by an orange Ford Mustang. 

Authorities say the victims were taken to UK hospital with what are described as "non-life-threatening injuries." 

Police say charges could be pending in the case but it is not clear if drugs or alcohol played a role in the crash.
