Family Searching For Dog That Fled After Crash

POWELL COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) -- A family is searching for their dog that fled after a crash on Slade Hill in Powell County.

After the crash, the frightened pup managed to escape the vehicle and fled the area. The two-year-old Huskie mix answers to the name of Freya. Freya has one blue eye and one brown eye.

At the time of the collision, she was wearing a pink collar and was attached to a pink leash. If you see the animal, call (606) 824-9334.

    LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) - A doctor at Baptist Health Lexington has been taken into custody after allegedly showing up intoxicated to do a surgery. A spokesperson with Baptist Health Lexington confirms that Dr. Theodore Gerstle, a plastic surgeon, was arrested after leaving the hospital. He had just had a confrontation with hospital administration. Dr. Gestle's privileges have been revoked pending an investigation. He has been charged with a public intoxication charge.
