Lexington Apartment Resident Catches Burglar In The Act

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) - It was a scary morning for residents of a Lexington apartment complex.

Police are investigating a burglary that happened about 3:00 Wednesday morning at the Mansion Apartments off Nicholasville Road.

The victim went home and saw the burglary in progress, according to police.

They said the burglar attempted to steal a television set.

An argument took place before the victim pepper sprayed the suspect and that person fled the scene.

Police said the suspect is a man and they have is name. Apparently, the burglar and victim knew each other.

No arrests have yet to be made.
