WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18) -- University of Louisville Player Jaylen Johnson pleaded guilty in Woodford County to a charge of marijuana possession.
Johnson appeared in court Monday to plead to the charge. The judge issued a fine of $260.50 to be paid by April 24 in connection with the case.
Coach Rick Pitino confirmed last month that Jaylen has already declared for the 2017 NBA draft. He has not hired an agent, leaving the possibility of his return to the Cardinals.
The University of Louisville released a statement, "We just became aware of the matter and have addressed it internally."
