The Southeastern Conference announced that Kentucky baseball senior Storm Wilson was named to the 2017 SEC Community Service Team, the league announced Wednesday.

In addition to participating in the Community Restoration Project and Louisiana Flood Relief Drive, Wilson volunteered with Goodwill, Backpack Program, and the Wounded Warrior Project. The senior outfielder was also a 2017 inductee into to UK’s Frank G. Ham Society of Character, which acknowledge student-athletes who have shown extraordinary commitment to academic excellence, athletic participation, personal development, career preparation and serving as a role model.

Wilson has appeared in 161 career games with 113 starts at Kentucky. He owns a career .260 batting average and currently ranks second on the school’s all-time career hit by pitch list with 39.
