Blue Grass Airport To Unveil New Parking Layout

Posted: Updated:

LEXINGTON, Ky. (LEX 18) - Blue Grass Airport is rolling out new parking options that will go into effect later this month.

Officials say the new parking will combine current short term and long term lots into one short term area as well as designate the current economy lot as a long term parking lot.

Starting May 22:

Short term parking will include the two surface lots and all three levels of the parking garage, including covered spaces, for $14 per day.

Long term parking will be located immediately behind short term parking and will provide walking access to the terminal for $10 per day.

Passengers with handicap parking permits can park in either the short term or long term parking lots and will only be charged the long term rate for the length of their stay.

The airport will continue to offer 30 minutes of free parking and a cell phone waiting area for drop-off and pick-ups at the airport.
