WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. (LEX 18)-- A road in Versailles has reopened after it was closed for around 12 hours.
US 60 at Steele Road was shut down a little before 6 p.m. on Sunday and reopened around 6:20 a.m. on Monday.
Officials say a tree fell and knocked down power lines, blocking four lanes on the road.
The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet reported some cars got entangled in those lines.
Kentucky Utilities says more than 800 people are currently without power. They estimate power to be back up and running by 8 a.m. Monday.
