Missing Man Found, Later Dies From Injuries

Posted: Updated:

CLARK COUNTY, Ky (LEX 18)-- A man who went missing Thursday afternoon was located hours later, but has since passed away.

Kenneth Davis was last seen on a four wheeler off Schollsville Road in Winchester around 1 p.m. Thursday.

Just before midnight Thursday, his family got word that two friends of the victim found him alive in a creek bed.

A friend of the family tells LEX 18 that they were able to find him because they traced an area where Davis often traveled. Davis was looking to find the place where his cows had gotten out and the friends knew he would go in that direction.

Davis was taken to Clark Regional hospital where he later died around 1 a.m. Friday.

The coroner says Davis succumbed to multiple blunt force trauma sustained during an ATV accident.
