RICHMOND, Ky. (LEX 18) -- Trooper Robert Purdy is widely known in Richmond for his social media prowess and use of Twitter to get the word out about crime and public safety. Thankfully, someone else decided to make him viral as he attended a back to school bash.
The Richmond Teen Center held the event Friday to celebrate Madison County heading back to school.
Apparently, the kids weren't the only one feeling the music. Well, just watch for yourself.
The Back to School Bash donated 700 backpacks full of school supplies to students.
