Zion Williamson Forced To Cancel In-Home Visit With Cal
One of the nation's top recruits was forced to cancel an in-home visit with John Calipari this week.
According to SEC Country, Zion Williamson, was forced to cancel his visit with Cal due to Hurricane Irma. Calipari was supposed to go to watch Williamson play and visit with his family this in Spartanburg, S.C. but his mother, Sharonda Sampson told SEC Country. “My family who lives on the coast is in the direct path and we are with them today.”
Williamson is a five-star small forward as is ranked as high as No. 1 overall in the Class of 2018.
Not to worry about his official visit with the Wildcats, however. His mother did say that Williamson would make the trip to Lexington, adding, "we’ll set one up soon.”
